What Is a Class A CDL?
A Class A Commercial Driver's License authorizes you to operate any combination of vehicles with a Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) of 26,001 lbs or more — provided the towed vehicle exceeds 10,000 lbs GVWR. This includes tractor-trailers, semi-trucks, flatbeds, tankers, and livestock carriers.
Se'lah's Class A ELDT Theory Training fulfills the federal knowledge curriculum requirement (49 CFR Part 380) for first-time CDL applicants. Your completion is reported directly to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry — a legal requirement before your CDL skills test.
